Acting
Our Acting programme runs for age groups Footlights and above, in short course sessions, varying from 6-12 weeks, throughout the year. In these classes we explore and develop key acting and performance skills, through the use of fun and interactive drama games, techniques and mini projects which often follow seasonal or specific themes.
As with all of our courses, Acting classes are adapted to and tailored towards the interest of group members in order to keep them as engaging, interesting and rewarding as possible.
We build the LAMDA Acting syllabus into our Footlights and Follow Spot Acting classes, so that our students walk away with more than just the skills they learn and experiences they have. Through their participation in the class, our young people will be prepared for solo or duo Acting qualifications as part of the course and given the opportunity to take an exam to gain it if they choose to (although this is not compulsory). Unfortunately, we are unable to cater for Level 3 LAMDA exams (Bronze, Silver and Gold medal levels) within group classes at this time however do offer private tuition for individual and duo learners at these levels.
