Footlights Acting *

Service Description

The next 6 week block of our Footlights Acting course, aimed at young people in SCHOOL YEARS 3-5, will commence on Monday 11th September 2023. Classes are held on Monday's at 4:30pm-5:30pm at the Methodist Church Hall (Grange-over-Sands, LA11 7EY). Places in each class are limited and therefore we recommend booking early in order to avoid disappointment. Prices for this course equate to £6/session with the full course fee (£36) being due in full by or on the first day of the course. However, payment plans are available upon request prior to the start date and trial classes for the one off class (£6) are available for new Curtain Call students. We also offer a DISCOUNT for students registering for more than one course running in the same block/term. For example, students may wish to take both Acting and Musical Theatre rather than just one, both of these as well as Speak Up!, or any combination of classes. If you would like to do this, please contact us for a coupon code which you can apply to both orders. Payments can be made online in full upon booking. However, if you would rather pay BACS, or require an instalment plan, please select the "pay in person" option upon checkout. If you have any questions, please get in touch. Payments are final and non-refundable. In the event that Cumbria Curtain Call has to cancel a session, class or course, any fees already paid will be transferred to a future booking as credit, or a refund for the cancelled class only may be requested. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Acting programme runs for age groups Footlights and above, in short course sessions, varying from 6-12 weeks, throughout the year. In these classes we explore and develop key acting and performance skills, through the use of fun and interactive drama games, techniques and mini projects which often follow seasonal or specific themes.  As with all of our courses, Acting classes are adapted to and tailored towards the interest of  group members in order to keep them as engaging, interesting and rewarding as possible. ​ We build the LAMDA Acting syllabus into our Footlights and Follow Spot Acting classes, so that our students walk away with more than just the skills they learn and experiences they have. Cancellation Policy

When registering, young people must be signed up to all classes in that course/session (with the exception of new students taking trial classes). This enables us to plan appropriately and maintain the highest quality tuition possible. Therefore, all payments are final and, if you sign up to a payment plan, all fees are due regardless of whether your child attends every class.   In the event that Cumbria Curtain Call has to cancel a class or course/session, fees to the value of the class(es) cancelled from that class will either be held as credit to put towards a future course/session, or will be refunded in full.
