🎭 🎶 Our 'Acting for the Camera' course for 8 - 14 year olds is the second half of our full week Acting Summer School, which performers can take part in either on its own, or as part of attending our full week Acting Summer School. To book 'Acting for the Camera' ONLY (29th - 31st July), please use this page. If you would like to book onto our FULL week ('Acting for the Camera' AND 'Drama for the Stage', running 27th July - 31st July inclusive), please use the 'Acting Summer School' booking page instead. JUST 'Acting for Camera', includes: 🌟Introduction to acting for the camera 🌟On screen skills and techniques 🌟Script analysis and character development 🌟Scene work (solo and group) 🌟Mini group projects 🌟Script writing 🌟Self tape workshop 🌟Drama games 🌟Improvisation 🌟Devising 🌟Group voice coaching And much more... 🎶 Everyone is welcome to join us - No previous experience is required! 🗓️ 29th - 31st July 2026 ⏱️ Wednesday 29th July - 1:30pm - 4:30pm Thursday 30th July - 10am - 4pm Friday 31st July - 10am - 4pm 🕊️ Book your place before 30th June to enjoy our Early Bird rate of just £85. Full price £95 from 1st July onwards. 🌟 With limited spaces available, we strongly encourage you to secure your place sooner rather than later. Please note that booking is essential and spaces cannot be held informally. ‼️ Once you have booked your place online, we will send over an invoice for the full course fee. You can either choose to pay in a one off, upfront payment or in two instalments (a non-refundable deposit of half the course fee to secure your place and the balance two weeks before the course start date). Places are not secure and confirmed until we have received payment.

Cancellation Policy
When registering, young people must be signed up to all classes in that course/session (with the exception of new students taking trial classes). This enables us to plan appropriately and maintain the highest quality tuition possible. Therefore, all payments are final and, if you sign up to a payment plan, all fees are due regardless of whether your child attends every class. In the event that Cumbria Curtain Call has to cancel a class or course/session, fees to the value of the class(es) cancelled from that class will either be held as credit to put towards a future course/session, or will be refunded in full.
